Caroline V. Brooks
Assistant Professor

I am a sociologist who studies the intersection of the sociology of health and illness, social psychology, and social networks. I’m particularly interested in chronic illness and chronic pain conditions, such as migraine and other headache disorders. Much of my work also focuses on the health and wellbeing of Hispanic immigrants in Indiana.

Beyond my scholarship within sociology, I often engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with the field of headache medicine and advocacy work on behalf of migraine and headache patient organizations.
